Mens Luxury Watches 2022

Mens Luxury Watches 2022

This list of the luxury watches for men in 2022 will be updated throughout the year. Whatever your budget, our goal is to keep you informed about the best new releases in the watch industry and explain why we think they're deserving of your attention.

Rolex

Rolex Day-Date

All Rolex watches express prestige, glamour and good taste. However, none more so than the Day-Date, a Rolex that, for a while, was only offered in 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold, or 18k Everrose gold—the latter of which was so luxurious that it served as Rolex's own version of gold. Not for nothing is the Rolex Day-Date referred to as "the president's watch." Next was a platinum version, which strengthened the watch's rarity in every way because platinum is costly to produce, difficult to work with, and makes the watch very heavy. The brand-new for '22 model features Rolex's distinctive ice-blue sunray dial and is the first platinum Day-Date to use a "fluted" bezel (i.e., the ridges around the edge).

Zenith

Defy Skyline

The majority of people really enjoy vintage Zenith pieces. The popularity of El Primero's "Revival" reproduction bears this out. People got crazy when the marque re-released the Defy, a famous novelty that dated back to 1969.

Exactly so. It is powered by the El Primero movement, so you know it functions well, but it has a light futuristic feel to it. Given the collector's value, you'll be onto a winner when the inevitable re-re-release occurs.

Omega

Aqua Terra 38mm

The unisex trend has arrived at Omega, and it's a welcome break from the 'diamonds for the ladies and bulk for the men' mentality that has ruled many Swiss brands.

The Aqua Terra, a reliable addition to Omega's catalog, is as traditional as they come and, in a new 38mm size, provides a balanced counterpoint to all the recent large, enormous watches. Additionally, you can share it with your significant other. Or completely keep it away from them.

Omega

Aqua Terra "Beijing 2022"

Omega didn't waste any time in introducing this ice-cold variant of its Seamaster Aqua Terra, which includes a few special touches to commemorate the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

The white ceramic dial has a frost pattern, the hands and indexes are blue with Super-LumiNova illumination, and the Beijing 2022 logo is imprinted on the caseback.

Additionally, a unique Games-themed box is included.

Breitling

Super AVI Mosquito

Breitling's new Super AVI collection is a celebration of aviation history, with designs inspired by four great planes from the past: the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang, the Vought F4U Corsair, the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, and the de Havilland Mosquito.

The Super AVI Mosquito, as seen here, has a black ceramic bezel that is both polished and satin-brushed, as well as a black dial with white chronograph counters that stand out against it. Its red and orange components are reminiscent of the roundels and markings of the aircraft known as the "Wooden Wonder."

No less than a classic cockpit for your wrist.

Tag Heuer

Aquaracer Professional 300 Nightdiver

Earlier this year, Tag Heuer's Aquaracer Professional 300 series got a redesign. It was more of an evolution than a revolution, with modifications that improved an already extremely popular watch (date window now at... 6 o'clock!) but that didn't mean it wasn't all the better for it.

The Nightdiver, with its all-black design and distinctive lume dial, joins the other eight models. The DLC-coated variant in black ceramic is our selection, a heavy-duty badass reworking of a much-loved timepiece.
