The Day-Date is the "President's watch" — Rolex's flagship since 1956 and the first wristwatch to spell out both the date and the day in full. Reference 228239 in the modern 40mm case takes an unexpected turn with a striking olive green dial set with Arabic numeral indices, a rare and highly collectible configuration that trades convention for real character. Fully serviced and authenticated, this example comes complete with its original box and papers.
